The new SensoPart FT 50 C - S1 color sensor looks much the same as the standard model. However, with its integrated RS485 serial interface and additional functions it is even more versatile. The new sensor is able to internally manage five reference colors, which can be both taught-in and scanned. Color selection and grey level selection are now separately controlled, so that the sensor may be adapted to your application even more precisely.
The FT 50 C - S1 is versatile and full featured. It operates with white light and was especially designed for on-line color detection in industrial operations and processes. Thanks to a special patented lens, the sensor also offers a unique depth of field, enabling it to reliably detect even moving and vibrating objects making it ideal for the automation of all industrial operations and processes, where the color of an object or a colored marking serves as criterion for detection or segmentation.
